Funeral Sunday Thomas Platt, 56 years old, a native of Montgomery county, and a resident of Crawfordsville practically all his life, died at Culver Union hospital this morning after a brief illness. Heart trouble and dropsy caused his demise. Mr. Platt was born near Yountsville in 1861. For many years he had been engaged as a laborer in this city. He was twice married, his second wife surviving him. He is also survived by three children by his first marriage, Carl of Kokomo; James and Mrs, Gertrude Todd of this city, and one brother, Alex Platt of Chicago. The body will be kept at the Nash funeral parlors until Sunday, when it will be removed to the home of James Vancleave, 305 Dubois avenue, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services will be in charge of Rev. R.E. Moss, pastor of the Christian Church. - thanks to Kim H
